Online Silent Auction

If you aren’t able to join us in person, you can still participate online! This year we’re using a new platform called Zeffy to manage our digital auction that will handle bidding and payments.

Here’s how it works:

1. From 8AM on November 7 to 8PM on November 14, find a basket you’d like to bid on. You can either view the baskets on the page below, or click the button to open the baskets in a mobile optimized page.

2. Submit a bid that is higher than the current highest bid (Optional: You can opt to be notified if you are outbid).

   • Note: You can submit bids on multiple baskets in one transaction by clicking “Return to Item List” and bidding on another basket

3. To confirm your bid on all the baskets you’ve bid on, click “Checkout”

4. You will be asked to enter payment information, but you will not be charged until the auction ends. You can select “Cash or Check” if you would prefer to pay GNHCP directly at the end of the auction.

   • You will see an option to include an optional tip to Zeffy, the auction platform. You can set the tip manually by clicking on the dropdown that says “17%” and going to “Other” and entering the dollar amount that you want to tip to the platform

   • We do not set the default tip amounts. Zeffy is free for nonprofits to use and does not charge credit card transaction fees to us; they keep the platform open with these tips

5. Refresh this page to see all the latest bids, and keep bidding until 8PM ET on November 14th.

6. Winners will be automatically notified and credit cards charged at 8PM on November 14th.

   • If you paid with a credit card and decide that you do not want the basket you won, you can request a refund and we will process the refund and notify the next highest bid. For cash/check option, just email us!

7. Baskets will be available for pickup on November 21st at the new GNHCP Center in Northford
